My relationship with tea is very close to home, when me and my mother would have supper she would always order or make herself a cup of tea before each meal, I found the taste of tea odd at first until I tried it for myself as I got older. With a harmony of tea and music this black owned establishment houses some of my print work and services the community with their training and knowledge of tea , music , books and hospitality. My thought immediately was that this felt like "home" so I began the journey of the possibilities of discovering my own cup of tea. I spent about a year with them to develop , taste , and become knowledgeable to find properties that would benefit the everyday life of an artist and entrepreneur. The properties in the tea help with breathing and mental release to get over those heavy moments. More importantly I want to make sure it tastes good even without honey or agave.
The name of this blend is called "Fo Er'Body Blk '' with the initials F.E.B. to pay homage to my cultural roots , The ingredients create a marigold color that dance in harmony as a reflection of what it means to admire the black heretic characteristics and service to humanity. The tea has been packaged and shot by professional photographers,Taylor Crawford & Niajea Randolph . Each bag sold will help community art projects facilitated by artists and partnering non-profits.
